AGARTALA, July 20 (TIWN): While addressing the IGM hospital’s Oxygen Plant inauguration program, Tripura CM Manik Saha who has been a Doctor before joining politics said that Doctors’ negligence is a real fact and asked Doctors not to neglect their duties.
“Often there are issues coming out between Doctors and Patient parties. We can not forget that patient parties are sufferers. Doctors have to be sympathetic to patients. Don’t do negligence in duty”, Saha told Doctors.
However, though CM’s statement gets ground in top Govt hospitals where there is no Doctors' shortage in the state, oppositely, in many rural hospitals, Doctors are in a very low number and hospitals are without proper infrastructure which is also responsible for the chaos in hospitals. Reports say, Tripura’s passed-out Doctors are unemployed at a massive number which is creating a Doctors’ shortage in various hospitals just like the teachers’ crisis in Govt school.
