AGARTALA, July 6 (TIWN): BJP’s Asset by Poll ‘Chappa-Voter’ allegedly was beaten up by miscreants in Amjadnagar bazaar in Belonia while returning to home.

The injured was identified as Rakhu Malakar of Satmura area in Belonia. Reportedly he was stopped in Amzadnagar area in Belonia then beaten up, the injured Rakhu Malakar raised finger on CPIM supporter youth.

The BJP’s Asset Rakhu Malakar took shelter at Prematosh Sen's house where allegedly few miscreants were present to beat him up.

Later, he somehow escaped and took shelter to Border security forces. Rakhu Malakar was later taken to Belonia Sub-Divisional Hospital in critical condition.
