AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): Ration-Shop owner is busy having fun by hanging a signboard in front of the ration shop showing the cause of illness in Udaipur, Rajnagar area. Resulting, the people of the area have not been getting ration for two days. When the people started protesting in front of the ration, Food Controller Abhijit Chakraborty from Udaipur sub-divisional administration went after receiving such news and found out the truth of the people's complaint and locked the ration shop.
Biswajit Das, owner of Ration Shop No.-1 in Udaipur Rajnagar area has long been accused of opening irregular ration shops, stealing and selling ration items, and verbally abusing the customers. Reportedly, the Ration shop dealer Biswajit Das went to visit Unakoti Jampui Hill leaving the ration shop closed. He hung a signboard in front of the ration shop saying that he is sick so the ration-shop will remain closed for two days. But based on secret news and Social Media Post it came to know he is roaming by keeping ration shop closed.
Local people after complaining, administrative officials closed the Ration shop. Administrative officials made it clear that the administration would take stern steps in this regard that Biswajit Das, the owner of the ration shop will not be able to open all the rations without the permission of the administration.
