AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): Conflict over tea gardens, extortion allegations are not new in Tripura and this time allegation raised against BJP MLA Krishnadhan Das for using Govt machinery to seal tea gardens.
As per the allegation, Mohanpur SDM sealed two tea gardens saying that these gardens belong to the Govt. But it was stated that the tea gardens have private ownership under DS Group.
When protested, the workers alleged that they were threatened to be arrested.
