TELIAMURA, July 3 (TIWN): Teliamura Police seized 1451 KG of dry ganja from one truck and an oil tank on Sunday under Teliamura and Mungiakami Police Stations.
On Sunday morning, Teliamura Police during Naka checking seized 476 KG ganja from a Truck bearing number WB15 B 2809. Two persons 1) Lal Mohan Roy and 2) Pankaj Roy were arrested in that incident. Traffic DSP Bikrajit Sukra Das rushed to the spot after getting the information.
On the other side, Mungiakami PS Police seized a massive quantity of ganja from an oil tank with a number plate TRO1 AJ 1664. Total of 975 KG ganja was seized. Driver Kartik Jamatia was arrested in the incident.
The entire seizure series conducted by Teliamura and Mungiakami Police was briefed by SP Bhanupada Chakraborty.
