AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): Reportedly, 7 delegation member led by Kailash Sahar MLA Mobaswar Ali placed a deputation to the principal of Ramakrishna College in Kailasahar on Saturday afternoon, July 2, demanding to maintain peace in College. After handing over the deputation, MLA Mobaswar Ali told reporters that last Thursday and Friday a scuffle erupted among the tribal students studying in the college and ABVP students. The MLA through the media requested the students not to be involved in any conspiracy.
The MLA also said that this college has a lot of reputation and tradition, many students studied from this College are now working in high positions with reputation. Many castes and tribes studied in this college and harmony was maintained and the reputation of this college cannot be tarnished in any way.
MLA Mobaswar Ali demanded exemplary punishment for the real culprits. The MLA also appealed to the parents including students to come to the college and study without fear and if an issue occurs then he will deal with it.
Though centering the scuffle the tribal students studying in the college do not want to come to the college as fear of psychosis generated and many tribal students are also preparing to be transferred from the college.
Over heated situation from last three days, a large number of police and TSR forces have been deployed in the college. The journalists went to the college for covering the news and during the news coverage the members of the external ABVP made ill comments towards Journalists, reportedly.
