AGARTALA, July 2 (TIWN): Reportedly a pregnant housewife named Sathi Deb Malakar resident of Indira Nagar, Rangrung Gram Panchayat, Kailashahar was admitted to Unakoti District Hospital after she was suffering from breathing issues on Friday. The Pregnant woman was a regular patient of Chiranjib Deb and he asked the family to admit her as she had high blood pressure and shortness of breath.

After being admitted to the Hospital with breathing issues she was not given proper treatment, alleged the family, even though she was not even admitted to ICU as there is no ICU in Unakoti District Hospital. Due to negligence of Hospital staff the pregnant woman died along with her twin babies.

After the death of the Pregnant woman all her family members started shouting at Hospital staff due to their negligence in providing treatment.

The Doctor on duty said that according to Number of patients, the Hospital staff is less for which sometimes it’s become heavy on Hospital staff to provide proper care to all the patients equally. Doctor’s such statement declares that Hospital staff is less as per need. 

Though after the death of Pregnant woman along with her twin babies, the family broke down into tears.
