Cyber fraud hacked Rs 1.17 lakh from a Bank account after she shared 'OTP'

AGARTALA, June 2 (TIWN): A citizen identified as Dipali Das got a phone call on 21st June from an unknown number phone she was asked to share OTP number by making her trapped after a long conversation. Sccordingly she shared the OTP number. But after sharing the OTP number the hackers deducted Rs 1.17 lakh from Bandhan Bank account in 4 transactions.
The matter was informed to the Bank where the Bank asked the account holder to inform the matter to Police.
The victim asked the Bandhan Bank to share the Transfer details but the Bank was not able to give details. Centering this the Victim account holder lodged an FIR at the West Police Station.
Dipali Deb is a resident of the Bordowali area adjacent to Vivekananda School at AD Nagar.
