AGARTALA, July 1 (TIWN): When TET qualified unemployed youths are roaming jobless, there is no urgency in the Education Department to recruit sufficient numbers of teachers led the school students to protest against Teachers’ crisis. Over 3,600 TET qualified youths in Tripura remained unemployed and protests are underway by the job aspirants for recruitment the Govt in slumber to recruit employees. Though the BJP Govt before 2018 Assembly Poll assured that 50,000 Govt jobs will be given if BJP would be voted to power, and Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath challenged for having 14,000 vacant posts due to lack of sufficient numbers of qualified candidates, now the Govt is incapable to recruit 3,600 job aspirants.
A protest was staged by Belonia Bharat Chandra Nagar block’s Ballamukha area’s Mani Kanchanpara SB School students after their teacher was transferred. Students stated amid such a crisis of teachers, how the school can function if transfers of teachers continue.
The students were also threatened by local BJP leaders to withdraw their protest. Later, the students were forced to leave the protest spot.
