AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): Congress leader cum Tripura Congress Incharge Dr Ajoy Kumar who arrived on Monday slammed the frequent attacks on Tripura Congress leader Sudip Roy Barman. Dr Kumar before the media said, “3 consecutive times attacks were held on Sudip. BJP goons have been attacking Sudip and Tripura Police are doing nothing, Tripura Police should be ashamed of its role. Everything has its limitations, Tripura Police and Tripura Govt have crossed all limitations''.

Dr Ajoy Kumar demanded the Police should arrest the BJP goons.  

Centering the Tripura violence Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Choudhury, MP Gourav Gogoi, MP Dr Nasir Hussain arrived in Tripura. 

Addressing media, MP Nasir Hussain said, “A chief minister should not forget that his duty is to take neutral action. We demand a fair investigation into the violence that took place yesterday. Our workers were detained whereas BJP workers attacked Congress in front of Police and the Police stood as mute spectators”.

Congress also has lodged a complaint to the Election Commission, Delhi seeking action against hooliganism of the BJP party and police’s biased role.
