AGARTALA, June 27 (TIWN): A family in Belonia College Square area was allegedly attacked by BJP goons on Sunday night after by poll results were declared in four constituencies.

Talking with the victim's family it is known the entire family is BJP supporter but their son Rathindra Pal had attended Sudip Barman’s meeting recently which was his independent decision. Some miscreants from the BJP party broke down the door and entered the house and ransacked the entire house.

On being informed, the police reached the spot but allegedly did not enter the house and investigated properly.

The incident has caused panic in the entire College Square area.
