AGARTALA, June 13 (TIWN): Commenting on BJP’s violent protest against Tipra Motha Supremo Pradyot Manikya, who is the Royal family head, Tripura Congress leader Sudip Roy Barman said on Monday that BJP by such actions is trying to inflame communal disharmony in the state.
“By kicking at Pradyot Manikya’s effigy like actions, BJP has tried to create tension between the communities in Tripura. Such kinds of politics is possible only by BJP. There is nothing in the world that BJP can’t do. Just like to malign the Gandhi families, BJP is harassing Rahul Gandhi using ED”, added Sudip Barman.
Sudip Roy Barman said this when he was addressing media at a protest program at the ED office in Agartala over its notice, and interrogation of Rahul Gandhi.
