AMARPUR, June 2 (TIWN): Few locals of Sukanta Colony area of Amarpur under Birganj PS noticed a young aged man trying to steal a cow from the area in broad day-light. When they asked various questions to the young man he tried to escape from the area and the public caught the young man. They indulged in physical violence and beat the accused thief after tying him with a rope.

Getting information, Police rushed to the spot and rescued the youth from the spot, and took him to the police station.

Illegal activities like theft cases and drug selling are increasing rampantly in state. At the same time mob-violence has also increased. 

Police started an investigation in the entire incident.
