AGARTALA, April 22 (TIWN): Tripura Congress has lashed out at BJP led State Govt against the poll rigging, violence culture of the state developed under the BJP regime. Tripura Congress has met the Election Commissioner in Delhi seeking a Free & Fair Poll. After meeting the Commissioner, Tripura Congress Incharge Dr. Ajay Kumar said, “Election Commissioner should be aware of Tripura’s situation. Central forces at adequate numbers will not be enough but overall monitoring is equally important. In the local body election, a thousand posts went uncontested because of the BJP and the Goondas. The Chief Minister and the BJP kariyakartas are working as a gang in Tripura. Police are also dedicatedly working for BJP”. “We have requested the Election Commissioner to send a delegation to Tripura and to send security forces to the booths levels”, said Ajay Kumar.
