AGARTALA, April 21 (TIWN): In Vision Document, BJP had ensured that ‘One Job Opportunity’ for every household will be given. 4 years crossed of BJP govt in Tripura but the fate of unemployed youths has remained as it is. Job opportunities for each household resulted in loan offerings for agriculture and cow rearing but it could be stable the economy as Govt Job Sectors are not recruiting sufficient numbers of employees to down the unemployment pressure.

Tripura ranks 3rd nationally on the list of unemployment.

Many posts are vacant due to retirements in the engineering department but engineering posts have not been entertained under the previous Govt as well as under this current BJP Govt, resulting in a heavy unemployment toll among the engineers. Moreover, the salary structure is very low for engineers. Now, Doctors are also in the same condition and are bound to work at very minimum salaries.

Resentment brewed among the unemployed youths as the Govt has no concern to fill up the vacant posts in Education Department. TET-qualified unemployed youths are regularly protesting against the delay in recruitment. On the other hand, JRBT results are also not published 7 months crossed after the exams.

Such frustrating jobless situations also trigger drug addiction in society and illegal trades are also on the rise.
