TIWN April 2, 2022

AGARTALA, April 2 (TIWN): Reacting to Trinamool Congress’s Councilor Suman Pal’s joining in BJP, Trinamool Steering Committee convener Subal Bhowmik said, “The BJP is extremely excited about one councilor’s joining and from Chief Minister to Party President all are doing Photographies with him but the party leaders are silent over 4 ruling party MLAs resignation. Why?”
Subal Bhowmik said, by doing this, BJP is trying to hide its failure and attempting damage repairing of party’s reputation with 3 of its MLAs and 1 IPFT MLA’s resignation.
“BJP should clarify why its MLAs are gone”, added Bhowmik.
Bhowmik also pinched BJP over its acceptability in ADC areas.
He said, “Last time in 2018 Poll, BJP got over 8 lakhs votes but now it will not get even 8 thousand votes, but BJP is trying to highlight councillor’s joining. Everyone knows how much pressure was put on Suman Pal to join BJP”.
