AGARTALA, March 28 (TIWN): Strike has received a mixed response in various parts of Tripura and it was not a 100% success but not also a total failure. But no picketing was done by Left Front parties in TripuraWhereas BJP has conducted anti-strike rallies, CPI-M failed to organize any picketing and rallies. Analysis says, due to lack of faith in opposition in the fight against BJP and rising attacks, violence in the state is the reason behind strike’s mixed response as in last 3 years, strikes remained better sucess for the Left.

However, in comparison with other days, motor stands witnessed low numbers of passengers. Shopkeepers also gave a mixed response to the strike.
