AGARTALA, March 28 (TIWN): Pathetic road condition has disrupted vehicle movement in Atharamura after light raining. A patient of burning case has breathed her last in the ambulance as the ambulance service was disrupted due to bad road condition. Reportedly, due to raining, a situation has been created where mud has accumulated on the road and big cars are slipping and falling into the pit. As a result, the vehicles have been standing for hours.
In Shillong-Chhara area, a housewife named Moina Haya poured kerosene on herself and set self on fire. The family members after the incident, immediately took her to Kumarghat Hospital. She was sent to Kailashahar Hospital from Kumarghat and then the housewife was referred to Agartala GB Hospital for better treatment.
But the emergency car came to a standstill in this dilapidated condition of the road. It stranded for hours and eventually the housewife died without getting medical services in the car.
