AGARTALA, March 25 (TIWN): Shortage of pure drinking water hits rural areas and according to BJP Govt’s ‘Atal Jadhara’ scheme promises in rural areas have yet not met. Resulting in various areas across the state demanding ‘water crisis’ and ‘Road repair’ blocking roads. Reportedly, the local people demanding pure drinking water and road repair blocked Rabeha Para under Gandachara-Ambassa road for which vehicles from both sides of the road were stuck for a long time.
The locals earlier raised the matter to authority but nothing was done, seeing zero response from the authority, the locals blocked the road. The locals demanded immediate solution of this matter.
However, it has remained to be seen what action the authority will take to resolve the locals' burning issue.
