AGARTALA, March 23 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath has released data saying 3056 regular jobs happened under his Department in last four years. Along with that he gave other departments’ data but no data could reflect the Govt’s effort to fulfill the pre-poll promises which it made before the Election 2018. First of all, BJP before 2018 had promised to fill up 50,000 vacant posts by 2018-19 which were left vacant under the previous Government’s time. In the case of the Education Dept, Tripura’s 10323 teachers were terminated and among them, more than eight thousand-eight hundred teachers’ posts are vacant along with retirement row per year of other teachers crossed 60 years. So, among 8,800 posts that were vacated due to 10323 teachers' terminations could not be fulfilled by the Govt, which means Tripura Govt’s expenditure for employment rather decreased, instead of increasing. Moreover, over 8,000 people were affected due to BJP Govt-led cancellation of the ongoing recruitment in 2018 which were promised to be fulfilled but never were fulfilled.
