AGARTALA, March 23 (TIWN): Raising 16 points demand TSECL Workers and Employees Association placed deputation to the Director on 16 points demands.
The demands were raised- to start Service Rule, to fulfil the vacant posts under TSECL dept, to regularise all contractual employees, to promote workers maintaining Seniority. To stop recruitment through outsourcing and to recruit workers like Pre-system
Demands also raised that to provide treatment responsibilities, if any workers get injured while providing services. Demands are raised to renovate sub-divisional offices as many offices become collapsed, and to provide infrastructure and consumers have to stand for a long time due to shortage of chairs in offices.
To provide cash allowance to those who collect Revenue on off-day, to provide allowance Rs 200 for night shift duty along with other important demands were raised.
TSECL Workers and Employees Association stated that if their demands are not met then they will go for massive protest.
