AGARTALA, March 21 (TIWN): BJP’s active member was arrested after he tried to oppress an on-duty Police official allegedly with which CM Biplab Deb’s son Aryan Deb’s name is involved.

Sources said that CM, Biplab Deb’s son Aryan Deb along with his friends and Security Guards were Present on Sunday at Hotel Airdrop which is located at Airport road on the day of Holi, where reportedly Aryan Deb was consuming alcohol. Noticing this, BJP's active member Anindya Bhattacharjee asked Aryan not to do it openly like this as it will damage the party's name. Centering this heavy argument occurred among the duo Aryan Deb (CM Biplab Deb’s son) and Anindya Bhattacharjee.

Though the scenario was captured in CCTV footage but amid it a Police official identified as Biswajit Debnath raising allegation against Anindya Bhattacharjeeb filed case at West PS of 33/2022 under Section 353, 307 and 506 of IPC.

He was produced before court today seeking Police remand. Advocate Shankar Lodh questioned on behalf of accused Anindya.

However, lawyers said that 353, 307 of IPC is a non-bail-able case.
