AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): An 18 years old girl committed suicide by consuming poison. The incident occurred in her residence at East Pilak area on Saturday.
As soon as the incident came to the notice, the family members brought the girl to Jolaibari Social Health Center for treatment. The doctor on duty referred the girl to Shantir Bazar District Hospital as her condition was critical where on duty Doctors declared the girl dead.
The name of the girl who committed suicide is Kauri Mug (18). The body was handed over to the family members after an autopsy on Sunday.
Locals are speculating that Kauri Mug has chosen the path of suicide due to his father's scold.
The demise of Kauri Mug has cast a shadow of mourning over the entire area.
