AGARTALA, March 20 (TIWN): Tripura former CPI-M Minister Manik Dey has accused the Modi Govt of selling off national properties to manage the budget.
Addressing in a party meeting Dey recalled, PM Modi before poll had promised to provide 2 crores of jobs.
“With fake promises, the Narendra Modi Govt had assumed in power and after assuming power, instead of providing jobs and building new industries, the national properties were sold off. In the last 7 years, 5.30 lakhs crores of public properties were sold. That was the basic source of income of people but now that source of income is closed, even the National Highway has been sold off”, added Dey.
