AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): Reportedly, some unknown miscreants poured poison on Mintu Datta’s 3 ponds last night. The incident took place at KK Nagar area of Durganagar under Bishalgarh sub-division.

Miscreants destroyed around Rs 7-8 lakhs fishes and the incident came to notice Saturday morning, when Mintu Datta saw dead fishes were floating.

The incident was reported to Bishalgarh PS and the Police after receiving news rushed to the spot and started investigation.

It is known the owner, Mintu Datta livelihood depends on fish trade. However the incident erupted tension in the area.
