AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): 2021 TET qualified teachers who yet not got yet Job offers gheraoed Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s residence on Saturday demanding ‘to recruit all qualified candidates together’.
However, the Education Minister has not given any statement regarding recruiting all 2021 TET qualified teachers together. Expressing huge resentment on Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath, a TET qualified candidate said, “Our only demand is to recruit all 2021 TET qualified candidates together. We have seen a maximum number of teachers' shortage in Tripura Schools and Education Minister earlier said that 14,000 posts remained vacant in teaching jobs, oppositely CM too informed that 5000 posts remained vacant and we, TET-1 and TET-2 qualified candidates are very less hardly over 3000, but to uphold Quality Education there is no responsible initiative has taken by Govt”.
As per TET qualifiers' statement, it is understood that they are unhappy after meeting with the Education Minister over solving their issues accordingly.
However, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath in 2018 in a press meet stated that 14,000 TET posts remain vacant Post but there is no Eligible Candidate, and then in the same year in another Press meet he told 12,222 teacher posts remained vacant according to Student strength. Oppositely CM, in 2019 before the media said that 5000 Post in Education Dept. remained vacant.
