AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): Dilapidated road over a decade allegedly for which local people facing trouble while moving from Gandachhara Road to Ganganagar area. Over the deplorable road conditions the local people blocked the road demanding road repair at Ambassa, Gandachara area on Monday.

The locals said that over 12-13 km the road is in deplorable condition and several times asked local administrative officials to repair the road but nothing has happened and centering this the locals blocked road.

However, centering the road blockade vehicles from both sides got stuck for long hours including Ambulance.

Later on receiving news the TSR forces rushed at spot to remove the blockade.

Now it has remained to be seen whether the road will be repaired or unlike every other time the Govt will play slumber role.
