AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): Based on secret sources' information of storing contraband items, the Crime branch led a raid in Master Para Ramthakur Palli area at Ratan Banik’s house. After leading a raid at his house Heroin weighing 158.6 gm was recovered from his house including brown sugar and other contraband items.

Cash Rs 16,000 and crackers box was recovered from his house and the crackers seized by Police.

The house owner Ratan Banik was detained under NDPS act.
