AGARTALA, March 15 (TIWN): Around 25-35 BJP workers allegedly have beaten up a Sudip Barman's Supporter in Bagma area.

Over the winning of BJP party in 4 states, ‘Victory rally’ has been going on across the state Tripura, and a young aged man identified as Abdul Hossain (35) was supposed to attend BJP’s ‘Victory rally’ in Bagma and for not attending the rally Abdul was beaten up brutally by around 25-35  BJP activists in Bagma bazaar area.

It is known that injured Abdul Hossain’s wife is a Panchayat ruling BJP member and despite knowing it the BJP workers organized the attack on him. 

However, the eyewitness including Police took him to the hospital in an unconscious state and presently he is undergoing treatment at Agartala GB Hospital.

It is learned that a case has been filed against several BJP supporters who allegedly held the attack on him.
