AGARTALA, March 13 (TIWN): Today while delivering speech at Melaghar Tripura CM Biplab Deb said, “Per month women are earning around Rs 96, 000 means almost a lakh Rs by selling eggs”.

Deb stated that duckling is another thing but only by selling eggs the women are earning Rs 1 lakh monthly.

Talking about women empowerment Deb stated that 33% reservation was kept for women. However, Deb confirmed that men will not be deprived due to that.

The programme was organised at Chandan Mura ground in Melaghar Rudrasagar.

However in today’s programme at Melaghar Minister Bhagaban Chandra Das, District President of Sepahijala Supriya Das Dutta, MLA Subhash Chandra Das and others were present.
