AGARTALA, March 9 (TIWN): Kailasahar Dak Bungalow to Rangauti road repair has been progressing but it is alleged that the road repair is progressing with slow and unscientific manner by Contractors. Everyday thousands of people with vehicles move on this road and everyday almost 5=6 accidents have been occurring. The local people several times requested the contractors to repair prior mainly the dilapidated portion but the contractor allegedly did not give any importance to it and centering this DYFI Kailashahar placed a memorandum to PWD Executive Engineer Kanti Gopal Dey.
The deputation was placed by Bishu Das, secretary of DYFI Kailasahar subdivision committee. Youth leader Abdul Munim, Emon Chowdhury and many others were present in the deputation.
PWD Executive Engineer Kanti Gopal Dey said that this matter is not in his hand and he will forward this memorandum to the concerned sector and will take action accordingly.
The DYFI members said that if in the next fews days the problem would not be resolved then they will go for massive protest.
