AGARTALA, March 8 (TIWN): Unlike PM Modi's recent rally in Tripura where Govt employees, students were forced to join, Amit Shah's rally was purely political where BJP wanted to show its strength. After CPI-M's massive Astabal rally and Sudip Barman's joining in Congress, BJP announced Shah's rally to prove its stronghold but under Biplab Deb and Manik Saha's leadership, Tripura BJP once again failed to show its strength. Also many BJP leaders MLAs did not participate in the rally. BJP's ongoing massive violence and bike, helmet gangs' tortures are also major reasons behind BJP's setback under wrong politics of Biplab Deb.

A daily worker who joined the rally of Amit Shah was unable to say, whose rally it is and she also said, when she was working she was brought to the rally. The participant further alleged that from BJP rally, she has not received any benefit.
