CHURAIBARI, March 6 (TIWN): 4 women while allegedly smuggling cannabis through a bus register number- AS01HC-9034 of Srima Travels for Guwahati from Dharmanagar on Friday night detained by Churaibari Police at Churaibari checking point.

Cannabis weighing 32 kgs was seized from bags of 4 women after searching all the bags in the bus. The 4 female traffickers were detained from the Bazarichhara area.

The detained women have been identified as Mongalokkhi Debbarma, Rujina Debbarma, Namita Debbarma they are resident of Belbari village of Radhapur in Jirania subdivision. Amomg them another woman's name was not known as she was dumb.

After initial interrogation, it came to know a woman identified as Payal Singh, a resident of Patna, Bihar is the main heroine of this smuggling.

The 4 women traffickers arrested at night were taken to Bazarichhara PS and was produced Karimganj CJM court on Saturday.
