AGARTALA, March 3 (TIWN): Raising 18 points demand TMC ST Cell placed deputation to SDM of deprivation of indigenous people. The demands raised- De-reservation of forest reserve and restoration of provision of "Tribal Forest Reserve Areas'. Direct funding from 'Finance Commission of India' by amending the constitution of India, if necessary. Complete transfer of Power to TTAADC under 6th Schedule of the Constitution of India. Allotment of occupied Khas Land to be re-allotted to tribal indigenous people of Tripura. To make Eastern Corridor of NH from Konpui to Bhandari-Manikpur to Chawmanu- Gandachera-Raishyabari-Nutan Bazar to Shilachhari-Sabroom.

Demands raised to provide prime food grains like Rice, Atta, Cooking Oil, Kerosene Oil for next 6 months free of cost. As the cost of materials like bricks, cement, Labour has increased to thrice so demands raised to increase PMAY cost. To advance health system in TTAADC areas and to provide free medicine for indigenous people, to arrange pure drinking water facilities.

As the connectivity of ADC areas is deplorable, TMC ST cell raised demands to renovate the dilapidated road and to develop School’s infrastructure and to recruit more School staff. Demand raised to arrange at least 200 days MNREGA work as per existing Govt’s promises.
