AGARTALA, March 1 (TIWN): Unlike every year Mahabir Club has been organising fairs on the occasion of Shiv Chaturdashi and centering this Puja the gamblers have become active in the fair.

Reportedly, gambling halls have been set up in several places of Indira Colony and as per secret sources the gambling hall is being managed by the police of West PS and Battala outpost.

Sources said, gamblers are led by Abhijit Dutta of the area adjacent to Mahabir Club whose father is a retired policeman, Jamal Miya along with two brothers, Uttam Das and Samir Das of Jaipur area. The gambling is going on with the police’s support, reportedly

Uttam Das, Samir Das reportedly being involved with black marketing, smuggling, pistols and Golds.
