AGARTALA, March 1 (TIWN): Noticing Blood crisis and increasing deaths due to shortage of Blood in Govt hospitals, DYFI took initiative to organise a blood donation camp on 28th Feb at Madhupur Health Center. But the Health Department citing lame excuses of paralysed Law and order occurred after clashes between BJP and Congress canceled the Blood Donation camp.

In the programme CPI-M leader Bhanu Lal Saha was invited to inaugurate the programme.

Talking before media Bhanu Lal saha said that under the force of invisible power, preparation was started to cancel the Blood Donation camp, in the end, Primary Health Center’s Doctor canceled the programme. Later a house was selected to organise the blood donation camp but the Health Department officials canceled this citing the recent clashes between BJP and Congress in Agartala.

CPI-M leader Bhanu Lal Saha condemned the incident and said that the reason behind canceling the blood donation camp by the Health department is unknown to him.

However, under Biplab's Hira regime this is not the first time that opposition parties' blood donation camp was cancelled.
