TIWN March 1, 2022

AGARTALA, March 1 (TIWN): Within 4 months total 18 terminated teachers died among 10323 teachers. Today JMC committee condoled the demise of teachers before City Center, Agartala. So far 128 terminated teachers of ‘10,323 families’ died at battlefield during the fight to get back their jobs, and many teachers seeing no Positive response from the Govt has committed suicide over loan burden and overthinking how to run family. Not only the teachers, also the teacher’s family members-parents died but the Govt as per pre-poll promised to resolve the 10,323 burning issue yet not taken any initiative to resolve their matter. Oppositely whenever the terminated teachers held movement, the Govt deploying a huge Police force tortured and arrested them.
Over the brutality of the Govt on 10,323 teachers’ matter, JMC member Dalia Das who recently lost her father said, “I lost my father. My father could not see me settled in job before his death. Today our condition is worst and the Govt is sitting and watching our devastated situation. This (BJP) Govt is inhuman. No sign of humanity the Govt has shown. We were Lathi Charged, water cannons and tear gas was thrown at us, and several hundred teachers were injured on 27 Jan, 2021.”
“We brought this Govt in Power and we will unseat this Govt by dragging it, if our matter is not resolved within a few days”, she said.
The BJP Govt who had promised to resolve 10,323 teachers’ issues is now playing a silent role.
