AGARTALA, Feb 27 (TIWN): After Astabal Stadium’s massive rally on February 24, CPI-M party has promoted State CPI-M’s Acting Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury as the Secretary of CPI-M’s new State Committee.

The decision was taken in CPI-M’s 2 days long 23^rd State Conference held at Agartala Town Hall, in the presence of National CPI-M Secretary Sitaram Yechury.

In the new committee, many new faces were introduced and also senior persons were included.

The new committee includes such as: 1) Manik Sarkar, 2) Aghore Debbarma, 3) Badal Chowdhury, 4) Tapan Chakraborty, 5) Rama Das, 6) Narayan Kar, 7) Manik Dey, 8) Subrata Chakraborty, 9) Naresh Jamatia, 10) Ratan Bhowmik, 11) Radha Charan Debbarma, 12) Islam Uddin, 13) Krishnendu Chowdhury, 14) Swapan Baishnab, 15) Bir Chandra Debbarma, 16) Nirod Saha, 17) Anjan Das, 18) Amalendu Debbarma, 19) Lalit Tripura, 20) Santosh Chakma, 21) Pankaj Chakraborty, 22) Hemanta Jamatia, 23) Manindra Das, 24) Padma Debbarma and many other new and old faces.
