AGARTALA, Feb 26 (TIWN): The death toll of 10323 teachers raised to 127 as one more teacher has breathed his last. Resident of Border-para area under Belonia sub-division Taruni Malakar was suffering due to heavy depression for a long time. On Saturday early morning, the teacher has died. He was suffering due to financial issues as well as undergoing heavy depression. Joint Movement Committee member Kamal Deb condoling Tarun Malakar's demise said, “We are really saddened by his unexpected death. The Govt which before the election promised to solve our problems has now forgotten its own promise. There is no humanitarian gesture displayed by the Govt yet”.
“We urge the Govt to stop the death tolls and make a permanent solution to the 10323 teachers’ problems”, said Kamal Deb.
