AGARTALA, Feb 24 (TIWN): “BJP Govt had promised Ghar Ghar Rojgar prior to the poll along with 50,000 jobs but due to those fake promises, the young generation has been affected most. Those who promised Ghar Ghar Rojgar with 50,000 jobs within a year and 7 lakhs jobs in next 4 months, in past 47 months nothing has been done”, said CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury while addressing Astabal rally.

“Instead of giving jobs, BJP is using the unemployed youths to set fire to their neighbour's house”, said Chowdhury.

“In past 47 months their leaders and others have been looting, and to guard the looted material they(youths) were made as Chowkidar'', added Choudhury while addressing the rally.

“Centering the massive rally, when CPI-M’s campaigning was going on, for more than a week terror had been generated state-wide. Even the Agartala city was also not left from the attack. In Abhoy Nagar area last night CPI-M families were attacked, threatened, and BJP goons further vandalised homes. In sub-divisions those who gave vehicles for today’s rally were forced to cancel their trip by threats”, added Choudhury.
