AGARTALA, Feb 21 (TIWN): On the basis of secret information, a raid was carried out in Rangutia area under Lefunga police station late last night and a large quantity of narcotics items including 9mm pistol was recovered.

Two people were detained. The detained persons are Ratan Deb and Anup Deb.

At present they are being brought to Lefunga police station for interrogation.

They will be taken to court tomorrow, said Additional SP Pia Madhuri Majumder and Anirban Das.

Huge amount of cashes were also recovered from them.
