AGARTALA, Feb 18 (TIWN): Law and order at peril in Tripura and robber, smuggling in heavy rise. A daring theft incident occurred in Bishalgarh Madhya Laxmibil area late last night. The group of thieves stole 3 cows in row from a local resident Basna Das's house.
The theft incident came to notice on Friday and the family broke down into tears. It is known the stolen cows estimated price would be Rs 1.50 lakhs and the family livelihood was depending on the 3 stolen cows.
However, a case was registered at Bishalgarh PS against the theft case.
Reportedly, thefts and robberies have been increasing day by day after the newly constructed bypass in Bishalgarh but Police failed to suppress the illegal activities, resulting common people are paying the price.
Getting information, Bishalgarh Police went to Bishalgarh Madhya Laxmhibil area and registered a case of theft.
According to Basna Das's family, thefts are increasing day by day after the newly constructed bypass in Bishalgarh but no action has been taken after informing the police and the general public are paying for this.
