It is learned that the staff of Charilam Forest Office had secret information that a vehicle loaded with sand and lock number TR01R-1550 was coming from Jampui Jala area towards Bishalgarh.

The vehicle was parked in the Naba Shantiganj Bazar area and Forest office personnel searched the vehicle and recovered a large quantity of illegal sand and woods.

The recovered illegal sand and woods were taken to the Charilam Forest Office.

Meanwhile, SDFO Sukanta Das told reporters that such operations would continue in the coming days.
