BISHALGARH, Feb 16 (TIWN): Railway police personnel on Tuesday lodged a case in Bishalgarh police station alleging theft of batteries from the signal room of the railway station.
It is learned that on 13th February, 10 batteries were stolen from the room. The batteries were used in the signal room at the railway line, a short distance from the station.
After being noticed by the railway staff of Bishalgarh railway station, the incident was taken up to the higher authority.
Accordingly, the railway police personnel lodged a complaint in the Bishalgarh police station on Tuesday.
Local alleged that that Bishalgarh railway station area has now become a den for thieves, looters and drug addicts.
In the evening, the hangout started at the railway station. But not only that, as the night progresses, Drug syringes, caskets, tablets, Phensidyl and other drugs’ illegal business occupies the entire area.
Even a journalist from the sub-division was threatened by a group of drug dealers on social media and over the phone when he went to the Bishalgarh railway station a few days ago. Infact, Bishalgarh railway station has now become a hunting ground for crime.
