AGARTALA, Feb 14 (TIWN): In Koifang ADC Village under Shantir Bazar subdivision, a 604 km road is being constructed from Srikanth Bari Road to Kastarai Riang Para to facilitate the movement of people. Construction Company Mosers Pobe Technology Construction Pvt. Ltd. was signed of Rs 6.70 lakhs to construct the road but locals alleged that a substandard work been done by the Construction Company and not using allocated materials properly for the construction of the road.

As a result, the road is getting damaged within a few days of its construction which erupted resentment among locals.

The locals of Koifang ADC Village demanded that good quality work should be done. Also, it is alleged by the locals that the labourers are not being paid accordingly.

Allegations of low-quality work are constantly being raised in various places in the state.
