Flower shops were taken away, flowers that were specially purchased on Valentine’s Day for sales were also taken away by AMC. As a result, massive anger was generated among the street vendors. Heavy arguments erupted between AMC staff and the vendors. AMC employees later were bound to leave the place but already damages were done. “We will not tolerate such injustice every day. We are unable to arrange our livelihood due to constant harassment. We are in this profession for decades but never faced such harassment”, said another vendor.
