AGARTALA, Feb 12 (TIWN): 149 bottles of Phensedyl and 38 kg dried cannabis were seized by Kamalasagar BSF personnel on Friday night. Later the seized contraband items were handed over to Madhupur police on Saturday.

It is learned that on duty 150th Battalion BSF Jawans of Kamalasagar noticed drug traffickers smuggling Phensedyl and dried cannabis in Bangladesh on Friday. While the BSF chased the traffickers, noticing the BSF Jawans, the drug dealers dropped their contraband items and fled from the spot.

BSF personnel seized 149 bottles of Phensedyl and 38 kg of dried cannabis to Kamalasagar BOP and handed over the seized phensedyl and dried cannabis to the Madhupur PS police on Saturday afternoon.
