AGARTALA, Feb 12 (TIWN): BJP MLA Sudip Roy Barman and Ashish Saha who had quit BJP allegedly due to indiscipline and misrule of BJP Governance in Tripura, today arrived in Agartala after joining Congress on Feb 8.
While welcoming Barman and Saha in the Agartala terminal, extreme excitement was noticed among Congress activists. Congress activists raised the slogan ‘Biplab Hatao, Tripura Bachao, BJP Hatao Desh Bachao’. They also raised voice ‘Missed Call Babar...Aar nai Dorkar’ (no need of Missed Call Baba)
Congress leader Gopal Roy, Tripura Congress party president Birjit Sinha, Congress national leader Dr Ajay Kumar were present along with Sudip Roy Barman and Ashish Saha.
