AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): Centering the murder of CPI-M member Benu Biswas on Thursday at Kamalpur Bazar in Rajnagar Assembly Constituency by BJP miscreants, the CPI-M today organised a protest rally demanding the arrest of criminals.
The allegation of murder was raised against BJP leader Manik Sarkar, Joydeb Sarkar, Jhutan Chakraborty, Naresh Chakraborty and Naresh Das but yet no arrest reported.
In the protest rally a CPI-M leader before the media said, "Anarchy has generated under Biplab Deb’s Govt. In the last 4 years total 24 comrades were killed but no criminals were arrested by Police".
The CPI-M condemned the murders and besides demanded exemplary Punishment of the murderers.
The CPI-M leader also demanded the Police have to play a Democratic role and restored Law and order.
