AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): Over 600 BHMS Doctors remained unemployed due to Non-Recruitment Process under State Govt’s Health Department. The unemployed BHMS Doctor demanding recruitment placed deputation to the Health Department.
An unemployed BHMS Doctor before the media said, “In 1998 through TPSC entrance, BHMS Doctors were recruited, and since then no recruitment was done. The matter is Homeopathy Doctors are recruited in various fields through temporary Process, but not in Permanent Posts. We visited various Departments and only Promises had been given but no fruitful initiative taken according to given Promises, resulting we have been deprived for the past 24 years”.
“We don’t want to be deprived more, so we want the Govt should immediately recruit us through the TPSC exams in Permanent posts” added an unemployed BHMS passed out Doctor.
The BHMS Doctor demanded to recruit them as Medical Officers through the TPSC exam like other Doctors of the State Health Department.
Though various Doctors were recruited under NHM but there is no such Post under State Govt. So the unemployed BHMS Doctor demanded fresh recruitment under State Govt’s Health Department through TPSC exams.
